The Trane Engineered Conversion™ refrigerant retrofit service consists of OEM conponents, engineered specifically for retrofitting an existing Trane chiller to operate on an alternative refrigerant. These retrofit packages allow the chiller to be optimized a new conditions to meet the current needs of the existing building, providing both energy savings and extended life to the chiller, without the additional costs associated with chiller and piping replacements.
